Inventory and Characterization of Phytoparasitic Nematodes Affecting Vineyards in the Tipaza Region (Algeria)
Main Article Content
Abstract
In Algeria, viticulture is an important agricultural sector but remains exposed to various pests. Among them, plant-parasitic nematodes represent a serious threat to grapevines. This study was conducted in the wilaya of Tipaza through the sampling of three sites and the analysis of collected specimens in order to identify the species present and assess their impact. The results reveal a high diversity of nematodes, with variable effects depending on the seasons and soil depth. These findings provide a useful scientific basis for better vineyard management and the development of appropriate control strategies.
