Abstract

This article assesses the operational efficiency of agricultural enterprises focused on planting and breeding in 88 poverty-stricken counties within Sichuan Province. The evaluation is conducted through the utilization of the DEA-BC2 model. The aim is to validate the extent to which agricultural enterprises have contributed to the industrial development of impoverished households in recent years. Furthermore, the study intends to offer insights for selecting appropriate agricultural enterprise models in economically disadvantaged regions.
