Abstract

The study employs textual analysis to examine the awakening of self-awareness in female characters, their pursuit of economic independence and personal equality, and their resilience in realizing self-worth under challenging circumstances. The paper puts forward a series of specific methods for incorporating Shih Shuching's novels into the educational curriculum, including thematic courses, group discussions, creative exercises and interdisciplinary projects. These educational approaches are designed to enhance students' literary comprehension while fostering awareness of gender equality, cross-cultural understanding and social responsibility. By offering new perspectives on integrating literature and gender equality education, this study makes a significant contribution to educational innovation and the advancement of gender equality in society.
