Abstract

One of the main issues in today’s power system network is the improvement of power system dynamics and stability. To reduce the power system network’s instability, this research employs several control strategies, including coordinating and un-coordinating the UPFC and PSS control inputs. The MATLAB/SIMULINK platform is used to test the optimized feedback controllers that are created for each of the different control approaches. The suggested approaches are contrasted in terms of key control characteristics like peak overshoots, settling time, and Performance Index.
