Video Game Engagement And Academic Achievement: A Correlational Study
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study sought to investigate the correlation between video game engagement and academic achievement. The sample consisted of participants from diverse backgrounds, and measures of video game addiction and academic performance were obtained. The results revealed an inverse relationship between video game engagement and academic performance; however, this correlation was established to be negligible. These findings suggest that while there may be a slight association between excessive video game use and lower academic performance, it is not a significant determinant of overall academic success.
